It doesn't have to be a major accomplishment. It doesn't matter if it is just getting out of bed or showering that's still a big accomplishment when battling depression. You can also post more than one accomplishment and post more than one day. I am just trying to help all of us to think more positive about ourselves.
I'll go. Today I drove in the rain and a heavy fog when I was planning on staying home due to my anxiety about driving in the rain!

I recently heard a great 2007 song the other day, "Falling Slowly" because it popped up in my newsfeed, accompanied by the sad news that the male singer, Glen Hansard, just died in a motorcycle accident. I learned that the song won an award and was featured in an indie movie called Once. I just watched it, and it's really good. They made it in 3 weeks on a $100,000 budget. It's streaming on...

And yes I got out of bed and took a bath---and did some grocery shopping with my husband. Woop-dee-do.
It makes us feel better for sure.
I'm not sure this is an accomplishment, but I stopped myself from showing my anger with someone , while I felt very angry with her.
Self- control? :) :)
I decided on way home I would stop at moms and keep her company for little while to break her loneliness up a bit....but when I was going I noticed a red running stroller sitting on the grass by the street right by moms house...I thought is that being given away free? I turned corner and went three house into moms driveway backwards and saw he cars brake lights come on...so I pulled next to her opened window and we talked a bit I said I stopped to keep her company but she was going grocery shopping so I said I would go on home then...drove back and the running stroller was still there and I had friend who grew up in the house so I pulled into driveway and walked to door rang bell and knocked...woman came opened door and I asked is the stroller for free? She said yes I asked is it in good condition she said tires a bit flat and dusty but yes good shape...I said my next door neighbor has one year old son and I will take it...so she said fine...
I got the thing to car and folded it up put in back of my station wagon and went to gas station QT to air tires for free....and then stopped at dollar tree to get stuff for party for super bowl...
got home neighbors cars were gone so they are out put the thing back together and brought into my kitchen to clean it up...wiped it all down with old rag and Mean Green spray on rag,,....man this thing is in great condition....so I dropped note into neighbors box I have a present for you in my kitchen come over and its yours....well she got home but did not come over right away but I got knock at door and she had headed to trunk of her car for box to take inside I said can you come inside....she said yes...so when she got her son she came over and said oh that is a running stoller...I said its free and yours if you want it...she said sure andy will come get it tomorrow he is at a party now....
So I got a nice gift for neighbor that she likes and is very useful with their one plus year old.... I also filed my taxes by Efile with taxactonline.com
long story but makes me feel good nieghbors have never been in my house or me in theirs either....so she saw my man cave...LOL
