so i went to the er at like 6:00 and the nurse took my bldd pressure and said it was kinda high for somene my age (it was 144 over 77, i think) then she askd me if i was under stress and i said yea, but i didnt feel like talking further cuz my mom was in the room. so then the doc came and did the simple test like squeezing his finger, and pushing my foot with his hand, (wich was hard on my right ft cuz i cant feel anything) , following his finger with my eyes and stuff. then i get a cat scan of my brain it came back negative, then the doc gave my mom a number to a pediatric neurlgist and i was discharged and i askd wen is she gnna call and she was like im not the doc said ur normal and i was like but im still numb and she was like well u can go wen u goo home at the end of the summer....im not gonna get any further help cuz i have a feeling my dad is blaming this on that voodoo shiit he thinks his family is doing and so again im stuck, on my own with this and thats why im in an angry mood!!!! :(
Try to relax and sleep tonight. Worrying and getting yourself even more upset will not help. I know how easy that is to say, and how hard it is to do. Is there a friend you can call?
Either they will have you placed in hospital for up to 72 hrs for mental evaluration ( which is a good thing) and/or they will talk your parents into provideing them w proof of thier income so that center can place you on a slideing scale so that you can see a pdoc and/or therapest at the center. state funded mental health centers also provide van - trasportation to thier clients.
It doesnt matter what your parents say or do to prevent you from obtaining medical care it is against the law for them to do so and thur sovial workers and the center and the courts they have no choise but to see that you get the medical care or they will enjoy clean bd w uilitys and 3 meals per day behind bars. So what if they go to jail - it is thier choise to do so not yours. either way the courts will see that you obtain medical care. Thats the law that protect children.
You not your parents on your behalf can apply for medicaid at local health dept.
call health dept to make sure that branch offc near you provides application.
applications requires photo id.
if you do not have photo id for aprox $10 -$12.00 you can obtain a photo id from department of motor vech. -thats not a drivers license.
