thanks for saying you get it. just seems pointless to exist with no real joy or desire to go on.
Take a leap of faith and makes new friends. You don't have to pour your heart out to strangers, but enjoy the companionship of like-minded acquaintances.
What do you expect from your friends? And because friendship is reciprocal, what do you intend to offer to your friends?
Are you able to reciprocate in full with your friends? If not, the friendships (and any relationship really) are not evenly balanced and tend to disintegrate.
I’m so sorry to hear that you feel empty. Thank you for reaching out. Continue to share. Online groups like this can help you to feel less lonely and alone.
When I was going through empty nest syndrome, I found comfort after I posted in one of the parents’ groups. I realize that I was not alone. I also have my life group who walks with me on my journey. We pray and encourage one another.
I hope you will find the help you need to stay strong. Connect with your friends and family online. You can also walk outdoors especially with sunlight with your mask on and social distance. Distract yourself by doing things you enjoy. I hope you will feel better soon.
I pray that you will have the peace and strength you need each day. Take care.

I am also trying to figure out how I am going to deal with this thing called "life". I also fight every day just to not end it all.
I don't have an answer for you, but so far what I have been doing is just finding the small joys in life, whether it's a hot cup of soup, or stopping to appreciate how the snow glitters in the sunshine.
I would be out in nature as much as you can. Have nature be your support system and best friend. Go on nice long walks and take in the fresh air and the views.
So much love and caring has been sent toward you
since your posted this message.
