Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
maybe you should write down what you can remeber your feelings being or look through an old diary from this time and just be on alert.
good luck to you and your daughter.

the main thing you can do is to let your daughter know that she can come to you and tell you anything. let her know of your bullying experiences at school, and give her advice on how to make friends, stay out of trouble etc... but the best thing you can do is to tell her to tell you if she is unhappy at school.
i didnt tell my mom anything about the bullying because i felt she wouldnt understand, and that she would think i was weak and pathetic. in the end, when i did tell her, she said 'everyone has to put up with that, you just got to be strong and ignore them'. what the HELL kind of advice is that??????????? give your kid useful advice, thats MY advice!
also, you can be extra nice if you notice her being unhappy.... im not saying you arent a good mother or anything like that, im just saying this because my little sister went through absolute HELL because at school she was being bullied, AND at home she was being given into trouble for being moody, so there was nowhere she could be happy and loved... make your daughters time at home extra pleasant if you feel she is unhappy at school.
hope that helps. xxxx
