Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

So I went back to work today and I am supposed to give one more presentation tomorrow and they will decide whether they will keep me or not. This seems extremely hard for a new job. I went to the job site and helped set everything up today. We moved furniture, hung things on the walls, arranged equipment, and the main manager asked me how it went. I said, fine and it did seem to go fine. I've set up a lot of classrooms. I was totally stunned when she said that the site lead said I didn't comply with her. I have never heard that about myself in my entire life of working. Honestly it just blew me away. I don't understand why because I literally did all of the things that she requested: I put the posters up on the wall, I moved the furniture, I set out the necessary items on the table. Where is the non compliance? My God. I honestly don't get it. The only thing that happened was that something got misplaced but we found it.
One of the things I got criticized for was that I called a window on the computer a 'dialouge box' and they put that in the write up. I guess they don't call it that. This really is way too much trouble. I don't know what other work I could find at this point but I was looking at some online stuff. I am very unhappy with this situation.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

It sounds like they want to either stress you out or make you quit. Most of what they do makes no sense to me except they want you to quit. It sounds very cruel.
I worked for attorneys and way back in 2011 they had no money and wanted me to quit so they didn't have to lay me off and pay unemployment tax. I started getting nasty, false criticism and it freaked me out.
I would say keep looking for other jobs. Go on the state website where they list state jobs (work force commission) and see if you can find something that is a mix of teaching and your new degree. Change up your keywords to match each job's keywords to the algorithm doesn't deny you. Don't just do Indeed.
Remember they hired you for this job so you are hirable.
It does sound miserable!
I agree to continue looking
Are you still to start work there?
If so then you'll be dealing with adult students and it may be a whole other ball game
I've gone back to school twice as an adult and thought my teachers were wonderful both times
Big hug and a blessing sent...xo
