I feel ya no one loves you in this world like your mama! Im blessed to still have my mom but shes getting up there in age and not in good health. :( ((hugs))

Mine died November 2009. My dad immediately went in to dementia. My mom's death was sudden and it was very hard to accept. Strangely, when my dad died last year, it helped me find closure in regards to my mom's death. I do still miss her, though.

Losing a parent can be very hard, especially when one is a teenager or younger. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Many people report that special dates tend to bring out the hurt; birthdays, wedding anniversaries, major holidays, etc. Sometimes knowing that helps.

I am sorry for our loss. I lost my grandmother and two days later lost my dad. This was in 2007 I still have trouble when November comes around as that is the month they both died. You need some good support the get though the grieving process. I still miss my grandmother and my dad. It was quite difficult when they died I just fell apart and ended up in the hospital .

today marks 1 week since I lost my mom. It also marks 1 week since I lost myself with her.

I lost my father two years ago. It was really awful because when he was in the ICU with a breathing tube down his throat keeping him alive, he wrote a note to me and my lil sis that he didn't want to die. He died two days later. It sucks because we were really starting to develop a positive relationship. Every day I try to make him proud.
