I very recently started an SSRI I've been on it less than two weeks.
My schedule got all crazy and I forgot to take it over the weekend.
Now I've had a slamming headache over the last two days.
It may be unrelated but I was wondering if it might be caused by talking (or forgetting to take) my meds. (Cilalopram)
Does anyone have any experience with this?

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo
I think if you take your dose now, and your headache goes away, then it was caused by skipping those doses and you will be all fine now.
If headache persists after taking the dose, I would call your doctor's office.
Maybe set a reminder on your phone, or an alarm clock setting on the phone, to remember to take it each day. It's hard to remember to take a new medication! But taking it regularly, and not skipping any doses, will give you the best chance of reaping the benefits of it.
Good luck! Let us know how you're doing.
Yes, I think an alarm is an excellent idea.
I'm back on schedule now. Hopefully my head will ease up.
I'm never wanting to do that again. I'm getting one of those small pill boxes and keeping it w my coffee mug.
I normally take my meds before bed (now have an alarm on my phone) but this
way if I do forget at night, I won't be able to get my morning coffee without checking I've taken it .
My morning doesn't start until I have my coffee.
Thank you everyone for your concern. I'm much better now.
