On March 10, 2024, I was telling my best friend that I was going to send out my Resume to local law offices for a part-time position. She said that the school she works at was looking for hall monitors. She told me a little about the job. I was interested. She told me who to send my Resume to and I did it that night. The next day, I got a call from the middle school principal who hired me sight unseen. I had to get a TB test and get fingerprinted. My start date got pushed back because I had to redo my fingerprints because mine came out too light. So I am looking forward to my anniversary of actually working on April 8th. I hadn't worked since January of 2019, so it is still a big deal. Some days, I get tired of the students who are on pass restriction who need an escort to the bathroom. They just want to get out of class and see their friends. Other days, i think "they are paying me to do this?" My disability through SSA changed to retirement this month. Yay! I can make as much as I want now! Do you work? Love or hate your job?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that.
