Lost Feeling

Weird way to describe it but yeah basically kind of lost, floundering out of my depth unable to touch the bottom. Sort of a liquid feel to life caught in a whirlpool out of the main flow but so afraid this spinning means there is a drain nearby. Yanked from the storm and dropped unceremoniously into the floodwaters of several main flows. Wishing I could end up beached in a quiet backwater lagoon of course with my son and our mini-zoo. Some kind of a dream place but over dreaded nightmares I’ll call up that dream over any other apparition to wake in heart pounding terror and need to be secure over all other fears. Please turn me loose from flood or storm and let me just be.

Even the strongest of storms have a calm aftermath. You can choose to keep yourself afloat or you can let it drown you. The problem with letting yourself go to drown means you are allowing yourself to stay in a dark place for your life. If you don't fight it, but don't give into it you will float and you will see the sun break through the clouds. It's a beautiful thing to float above what is binding you down. If you can do that you can do anything. Sometimes the biggest weight isn't the shackles that bind us, but in our minds where we convince ourselves it's impossible to escape them. There is hope. There is light. There is something out there you are meant to accomplish and be. You have lives to change and a voice to be heard. Don't let the waters drown that out. <3

Ghostdancer, sorry you're in a bad place. But don't let it beat you. You can come out of the storm stronger that ever. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger". I heard an illustration one time about a little tree (sapling). When it is young it bends with the wind, but as it grows it becomes stronger and stronger. That same little sapling that bent with the slightest breeze grows up to be a mighty oak that will be cut down and used as a main timber in a house. Maybe God is using the storms in your life to help you become stronger for some amazing thing that is coming your way. Try focusing your mind on positive, uplifting things and reading good books.
