Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

We do it for our families, and the thought of getting better, and having good days to look forward too. I am sorry I am not much help. Feeling kinda strange tonight, like numb. Sometimes I wonder it it is all worth it, the pain. I will stop there.

But, some days even that's not happening. Life is work for even those in perfect health.

I like this response. That is what I do. I hate repitive stuff. Cleaning the house is such a chore for me sometimes and the showering too. Some days are better than others. Also, I have family to crawl up my ass if I get too bad. Sometimes it is better to have to be made to do something to get out of the funk. I do anyway.
fold and put away laundry
bake cookies for protesters (Occupy DC)
vacuum house
scrub kitchen floor
clean out refrigerator
make calls about hospital bills
call two friends to check in with them
That should keep me occupied for awhile.
It's the getting started part that is tricky.
Interesting & basic concept, Chevy - I'm either living in the past or the future. When I think about the past, the things that I thought were bad at the time I was going thru them weren't that relatively bad; when I think about the future, my anxieties rise to uncomfortable levels...I have problems focusing on the here and now on things that I can (& should) take control of.
