Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Definitely sounds like signs of depression and possibly oppression (when it begins to affect you physically or mentally to a point where you can't work yourself to do something you feel you want to do or should do). Have you spoken to someone that is trained to help (psychologist, pastor, priest, counselor, etc.) or even before that a close friend or family member that will list and not be judgmental? Also, as Solus mentioned, taking steps, even small ones moving in the direction you want (i.e. to leave the house for a reason or simply to experience fresh air and nature) will help you overcome the anxiety that may be pressing on you and keeping you in this "trapped" feeling. I'll say a prayer too, as it can help knowing someone is thinking about us and interceding for us (and understands), as I'm going through something similar (but concerning getting through doing certains tasks that I am able to do, want to do, but just seem to have to force myself to do).
