Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I have a feeling it's not personal though - the job market is inundated with applicants these days and lots of people find they are sending upwards of 50 applications before even getting an interview. Keep sending out resumes. Persistence pays off and you will get your foot in the door eventually.
The one tip I will give, is that employers tend to look more favorably at people who are already employed at ANY job vs no job at all. So...even if it's not in your field, you may have more luck if you take a job anywhere. Think entry-level jobs that are always hiring. Cashier/stocker at Target, barista, server at a restaurant. These jobs may not be in your field, but they will give you an edge when applying for jobs that are in your field, plus having some income and some people to socialize with will just be a bonus while you keep up the search for the ideal job.
Wishing you all the best <3
I am bi-polar.1 I just had a major episode. Went to day groups. They helped me learn some therapy concepts. I may pursue one on one therapy. So I have a support system. I am just frustrated for over 20 years I have had these sites...no feed back not even one email nothing. I know I don't suck. Photoediting and also graphics.
I am clueless and numb.
Do you become familiar with the company and include any materials in your presentation. I'd contact companies in several ways and try to get feedback. As an employer, it can be difficult.
Once someone wrote to me in my area about potential work. I wrote back in what I thought was a pleasant way saying she had impressive credentials, but perhaps she could broaden her approach. She responded with a nasty reply indicating she was angry at what she thought was criticism, and employers may worry about getting in an extended debate or having people mad. So to get feedback, try to be reassuring. Perhaps the same is true on dating and I would try to get some feedback from a female friend.
Obviously, coming on too strong, explicit talk, bad pictures, uncommon habits, are not going to endear you, while talk about things they are likely to enjoy could help.
Good luck and I have a feeling things will work out because you seem awfully bright and skilled in your area.
Dating at 47 is hard. First off, I don't like kids. If they were my own, then ok. But other mens kids. No. I don't have the patience for explaining things. Finding a woman at 33-50 with no kids is a hard feat. Now if they are grown then ok.
Ill just get that into my head, that dating is not possible. I just thought at least I could have a job that I liked.
