Jenn, millions of people have the exact same marital troubles as you do right now. They will probably leave their marriages, go to counseling, or stick it out. Whether or not you decide to cut yourself is entirely up to you. There ARE other choices, you know.
Lower then slug shit
Women seem to take this as an insult, but it really isn't.
My porn & my left hand are a comfortable refuge when the world outside gets too intense.
You should post this on the "Healthy Sex" board. You'll probably get some helpful responses...
With that disclaimer out of the way....
I honestly don't think it is fair to label him a jerk or a loser just because he doesn't want to have sex. Just as it wouldn;t be fair to call you a bitch for being so wanting it as much as you do (note..not calling you one, just an example) There may be a legitimate reason he is not in the mood to actually have sex, but still wants the release. It could be psychological and emotional and by calling him names is trivializing whatever he may be feeling in ways that you obviously don't like feeling yourself.
That being said you do have needs that aren't being met and your physical needs are obviously affecting your emotional state. A relationship should be a supportive thing even in the worst of times, and if it isn't it may be time for both of you to move on. Because, honestly, you may not be meeting his needs either. Instead of being supportive and helping figure out whats wrong, you are getting angry at him and wanting to cut and that puts a LOT of pressure on a partner, trust me on that.
I think it comes down to the point where you need to reasess whether this relationship is where you belong. As Bella and Pick said, it's sex..it is one part of a relationship and not worth either of you feeling this much pressure.
I hope you are able to read this with the intent I am writing it with. I help off last night as you were, by your own admission, drunk and I didn't want to upset you more. Just take some time for self inspection, look within for a solution, not jsut at him. It takes two to tango...or, in this case, not.
