Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
It is hell while we wait for things to work or not, but it takes 4 to 8 weeks before it's fully effective.
utilize some other ways to keep your spirits up, think positive, choose your battles.
make sure you get in some time for yourself to relax and do some things you enjoy.
Good luck and **hugs**
It does take a while for the body to adjust to new meds. I can totally relate to your anxiety - I have an anxiety problem too, and although it is under control now, there have been times when I've been shaking, sweating and feeling like I'm gonna puke. I'd say yes, it's a temporary blip as you are adjusting. After all, you had a few good days, remember? Try writing down your feelings, mind-mapping, whatever... get the feelings down on paper (I found it helpful to scribble them angrily and then shout at what I'd written!!).
Bless you!
