Depression is resurfacing. I've made two dr. appts. and missed them both due to the fact that I couldn't force myself out of bed. I will make another one and I will make it!!! Stupid depression... I am not going to let it win this time. But, it is so hard sometimes... just getting myself to take a shower seems like a lot of work. Uhhh... I know my fiance is getting frustrated because I haven't been keeping up on house work, laundry, or cooking. But, I put all my energy in work and school, after that I have nothing left. I know its no excuse and he tries to understand but it's still tough. Having one heck of a rough day... Just needed to vent. Thanks!

I'm sorry that things are so difficult right now! It sounds like you have a lot going on, I'd have a hard time keeping up with work and school both even if I wasn't depressed. Try to give yourself credit for what you are accomplishing each day. Definitely make another drs appointment, you can get in there and hopefully that will help you to start feeling better. Vent all you need to on the board, and (((((hugs)))))

Thanks! Yeah, Chelle, I do feel as though I'm doing pretty well considering that I have depression to deal with too. I think what triggered me today was that my fiance told me he was disapointed that I hadn't finished an application for a scholarship that he gave me a month ago. It's due on the 20th so I was putting it off. I know its not an excuse but I have so much else going on I put the app. on the back burner.

My guess is your fiance hasn't dealt with depression. It's not the 20th yet, and with everything you have going on I could see where this isn't your 1st priority. You'll get it done, don't be hard on yourself about this, it's not a big thing, and definitely not something your fiance needs to be "disappointed" in you about.

its sad but ive been there too. I have put out money in the past for missed appointments that my insurance would not cover. Depression makes every aspect in life seem like a chore at times.
