Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Its been a long time since I've been on here and right now I just need to talk.. ive mentioned before how my work place had become toxic and it wasn't good.. well its become worse much worse.. its been effecting me alot, I haven't been sleeping, my mental health has been bad, ive been coming home crying, and back stabbed.. So I made an appointment with my doctor and I told her how I really been feeling and what's been going on and what should I do because I was at my breaking point, so they said I should take a medical leave.. So I tell my boss and the first thing she said to me was what's wrong with you? What am I going to do now?... all I said was just following what my doctor told me.. since than my boss has joined her daughter of giving me the cold shoulder and making feel like I don't exist.. this morning my boss came outside and told me she needs a doctor's note and another note if I'm not going to be coming back by Friday or she will have to put quit.. first she said fired but than quickly changed it to quick.. its gotten so bad to the point where my anxiety is so high and I'm scared that something is going to happen to me..

Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light. John 12:36, NIV

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.

Okay, FMLA requires that your boss allow you 12 weeks of UNPAID leave to deal with this. Your boss doesn't want to *fire* you, since she'd have to pay unemployment. That's why she walked that back and tried to say you're quitting. Then she's off the hook.
So - get the doctor's note, take a breather, and as suggested, look for another job. Seriously, look for another job. If this one is affecting your health, and it's a small business and nothing's going to change, make a plan to move on. No point in staying.
You don't say exactly what is toxic about your work place. I've worked a couple places that were not good. Probably everybody has, so if you want to elaborate, someone here might have some coping skills to pass along. If your area has high unemployment, and your prospects are few, maybe there are things you can do to make it more bearable.
