Things have been going horribly recently. From one hand I graduated from university and got extremely depressed for not finding a job till now , on the other hand my family are torturing me!!
Well they are good parents and has taken care of me but they are extremely religious and controlling!!
I am a feminist girl in a retarded Extremely conservative society, I am 23 years old but unable to go out unless my parents saw its a good reason and most of the time they don't , I want to study and volunteer abroad but they believe it's a taboo in their religion so they won't allow me to travel unless I got married and the husband allowed me to!!and if i did alone I might be killed or disowned !!
I am forced to cover my hair, to pray , to pretend like I am religious, to stay at home
I tried to protest , to get angry , to cry, to plead but all they are doing is screaming at me, locking me inside the house, taking my phone, preventing me from the internet and now they are threatening to do more!!! At times they got extremely hysterical and angry so they ended up in the hospital and my siblings were blaming me.
All the time critise get my ideals, all the time wanting me to just get married to any guy they bring, and in my society moving out is not considered normal unless one gets married or else would face harsh harrasment and judgment, especially a woman.
Right now I don't see any hope , I am seriously considering killing myself , I don't see any hope with this life they planned for me and all the things that I thought might bring me joy seems so far away . I just don't want to wake up again to such hell!
Easy to say ... one choice ... remove yourself from that repressive society in favor of a 'modern' one.
Easy to say, complicated to do, .. NO DOUBT. As mentioned, you MUST hide your desire UNTIL you can get out. Even posting on this site COULD cost you your life, or being burned alive or? or? or?. Hide your desires .... stay out of danger. Make a CAREFUL plan to GET OUT ... and HIDE it until you are ready. Even THEN, you could still be in danger ... but no more or less than you are RIGHT NOW.
I know what I am talking about.

Act the obedient daughter and make a plan to support yourself without parent's help.
Act the obedient daughter until such time that you don't have to. Because you have become a self-supporting, independent woman, not a "feminist girl" who is all bluster and no action.
