I miss my dog

Ice passed away in February at 17yrs old. She collasped one day and that was it. I am still crying. I miss her so, so much.


I miss the smell of her paws, playing with her scruffy beard, listening to her bark in her sleep, the way she nudges my hand with her nose during our walks. I see her everywhere. In my car, at the door, under my desk, the neighborhood. 


I want to hold her and kiss her so badly



Now I have to deal with my progressive carpal tunnel. I can't even draw anymore. I'm losing it

there is another dog in a shelter who would love you to hold it and sniff its paws and all that stuff....I know it is hard....I have lost dogs and it was difficult....

Our love never ends or goes away. I believe our pets are with us in spirit after they cross over. Life doesn't end, it changes to just a soul without a body. I believe we can talk to our pets and our deceased loves ones and they hear us.

I am sorry you are feeling so sad and having wrist problems. Do something that is soothing to your spirit today, a long nature walk, volunteering in the local pet shelter, etc.

Loss of humans is hard...loss of fur babies the same!

I lost my sweet Chachi, 3 months shy of her 20th birthday a couple of years ago, I was devastated, I adopted her at 3 years.

I thought I was too old to adopt again at 71, but I couldn't stand the silence. At my local animal shelter I adopted "Momma Mia" they called her because she was found outside in October with 4 tiny kittens...she was only a baby herself, just a year.

Wow. 17 years old!! What did you feed her? My dog died last July and I still sob sometimes because I miss him so much. I adopted a dog last month. I was ready. I was tired living alone without a canine companion. Having a new dog helps with the loneliness, which was exacerbating the grief I was feeling about my previous dog.

Grief shows us how much we have loved and it's painful

I still grieve for my sweet Rascal and I lost him over 2 years ago now

I adopted another rescue soon after

I wasn't ready emotionally but there's such a need now

So I adopted an 8 year old girl through a rescue and it took us a little while to fall in love but now she's my bff

I'm sorry carpal tunnel is giving you such a hard time

I have arthritis in my wrists and it hurts
We use that area for so much...xo

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
