Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Since the breakup 4/29, I just keep waking up so depressed. I have accepted that we aren't going to be together anymore. I have accepted that my life will get better and I can be a better person without him, but I always wake up in a funk. It makes it hard to get ready to go to work (which I need to do in order to survive and keep my house). I feel like I'm just coasting through most of the day. Night time can go either way (some nights I am okay, others I have a hard time falling asleep). But every morning, I just feel like I want to curl up in a ball and be alone. Since I was depressed before the break up, I don't know if this just made it that much worse and I wonder when I am ever going to get out of this. :(
