Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

do whatever you gotta do to just relax for a moment and then sit and think about what's important to you? does it really matter to you what other people think? sure, on some level i guess everyone cares what other people think of them, but.. what should really matter is what you think of yourself.
if you're struggling with something, reach out.. whether it's to a family member or a friend or perhaps even a teacher at school or a coworker.. anyone that will take the time to listen and perhaps they'll have something to say that could help, or in the very least be able to point you in the direction of someone that will.
if you don't have anyone like that in your life then reach out to a local support group and maybe try and attend a meeting. i know maybe it's not easy to sit around with a bunch of strangers and talk about personal stuff but sometimes it can help.. speaking from experience here.
And normal is highly overrated.. what is normal anyways? We're all different in our own way.. and you shouldn't let anyone else try and define you anyways. And anyone who says you're just doing stuff to get attention is an idiot. Just because they can't or won't see what's wrong doesn't give them the right to judge you. You're prolly better off without that kind of negativity in your life anyways. Surround yourself with those that will lift you up not tear you down.
Anyways, I hope you feel better.. just take things a day at a time and try not to let others get you down. People can suck sometimes, but not all of them. Those are the ones you'll want to find and hang onto with a death grip! XD
I try to remember that the way I feel is legitimate and only I fully know what I’ve had to go through. Also I remember that even though there are people who won’t acknowledge your feelings, there are also people out there that do. Try to build an on and offline support system to get you through the day.
