Your going in the right direction my friend
Overcoming not falling victim to, a good goal
Be well
It took me many years, but I finally came to peace with it. One day I just accepted the fact that I am different. No, it didn't solve the problem, but it did help. I wish you luck, my friend.
It's not your imagination that the energy is off in grocery stores. It is very off; and I just thought this yesterday So, don't blame yourself as though there is something wrong with you for feeling this way. Since everything that has happened, and there have been riots in my area, going out has become risky and that is why the energy is like this. We had a curfew for a while due to this, and there was real damages to some of the store fronts. There was a rage episode outside of one grocery store yesterday. Still, I'm glad you are going for help; it should assist you regardless of whether the discomfort comes from within or without. Good luck.
World population is close to 8 billion, there will always be some people who will understand you and some won’t. Whether or not one particular person will understand you throughout rest of your life will highly likely no as everyone goes through changes and the person you met before won’t be exactly the same person few years later and same goes for you as well.
You should also be aware that things are different now (with covid-19 going on) so it’s no surprise people will act differently. There will be more anxiety and stress, people are losing job, get sick and some pass away. Before there was some level of certainty and constant living but that pattern has changed due to this sudden pandemic. You need to numb your sensitivity (lower your antenna) a bit during this time as it won’t do you any good. You don’t need to feel everything, instead, focus on your inner world and find balance/peace.
Some people do have long lasting relationship, but don’t assume it’s easy peasy. Things can be very different than it looks on the surface (everyone is different, what works for them, you might not want it in your relationship) and even if it isn’t, it’s a constant work for both party involved to make it work in long term. It’s really easy to underestimate other people’s relationship from outside and you are being very dreamy (wearing a rosy coloured lenses) about it, ignoring/overlooking the complexity of relationship and issues that can easily arise from it.
