Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I know exactly what you mean. I have so much I have to get done and no energy to feed the motivation to get it done. I wish I had an answer for you, because then I'd have one for myself too! Just know you are not alone.

i know exactly what you are going through, one of the thoughts that would run through my head was "whats the point, what good is it going to do"
so you have to start telling yourself, "i am a busy person, and my family needs me to get things done"
you should start using a calendar, schedule, and daily todo list so that you fill it with tasks and do them one at a time. dont forget to eat some bananas for an energy boost, coffee works wonders as well
All I can say is don't stress about it....it will still be there when you do get motivated...it always is for me:)

And I will give you a very recent example of this. This morning I woke up to yet another rainy day, and I was feeling bummed out about that, and I even went back to bed. But then I felt guilty about that, and so I made myself start in on my list. And I accomplished three or four things today.
My kitchen floor is sparkling. I did some laundry. I cleaned out the refrigerator. Not exactly earth-moving stuff, but hey, it's something.
Trying to keep my chin up...
