Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I just was feeling down when I posted this and I am glad you took the time to respond :)
Your friend sounds perhaps insecure. Is she telling you her stuff? i generally go 'thing' for 'thing.'. If it's not your way to open up to people, you don't have to. Nor do you have to make anything up either. If you have no terrible secrets, then you have no terrible secrets.
But if you do have a terrible secret, tell the counsellor first, and then see how that changes how you are. They aren't allowed to tell anyone your secrets. If you feel stronger, and like you are more.. powerful from having told him, then maybe it will be okay to tell your friend.
But practise on the counsellor first. That's what they're paid for. :D
