I get kicked out from the fiances after 7 years.. I crash my truck and total it.. I go to the ex's to get some of my things and he treats me like I am a piece of trash. Told me he wont let me borrow his trailer to move out and will not help. Told me to load stuff up in the back or my sons truck and take many trips. I have a full bedroom set, intertainment center, big tv, surround sound etc etc.. along with all my decorations that are on his walls and my Harley and Boat. I have no where at this to put all these things.
He told me I was just a worthless drunk and that I should get all my *real* friends at the bar to move me.
Then my son and I went to dinner and when we got back home he went to let his dog Rusty in from the backyard and Rusty is no where to be found. He is very old, blind and deaf. We scoured the neighbor hood a long with some neighbors but could not find him.. Dakota is devastated and sat up until 5am this morning crying his eyes out.. He thinks some one cruelly came in the back yard and took Rusty to destroy him..I dont know why anyone would do that... I am at the end of my rope... but I will not drink.. sorry for the rant..... I feel so helpless

Do what you have to, be it dozens of trips in the truck or renting a trailer, but get it done. NO matter how inconvenient it is, you should find satisfaction in getting it all done.
Oh and a simple comment like "That was then, this is now; I've been sober for weeks" may pound some shame into him.
Poor Rusty though :'( Pets should never die xxx
as 4 Rusty...? dogs do know what is going on though they are helpless to do anything, he migh have whent looking for ya....keep hope.

As for your ex, he's a dick. I remember other stuff you said he has said and/or done. You are well rid of him. You will, when you are ready and healed, find someone who will love you.
As far as staying off the booze, that is all you can do. You can NOT go back to it. It's a cancer that will ruin your life. If you need to, I'd prefer you call me if you get the urge...I'll talk you out of it quick lol.
I agree with getting a Uhaul. We did that years ago when we moved ....it only took one trip for everything...SO much easier than going back and forth.

Very sorry to hear about Rusty. I would call the SPCA and local animal shelters just in case someone found him and took him in.
