its about perceptions...I have a convertible vw which I just adore...a ferrari pulled long side me at the light. Yep his is nicer...more expensive and it gets the girls looking at him yadda yadda...
BUT...
I get better fuel economy...lower insurance and I have a fantastic girl friend so I have no interest in being noticed. I enjoy what is mine...let the others enjoy what they have.
Just because someones whatever seems nicer than yours might just be that an assumption...hell yours might be better and you dont even know it!

Somebody's always gonna have more than we do, or theirs may be a little better. I've learned to appreciate and be grateful for what I have. If it's paid for, that's an even greater incentive to be grateful and appreciative of it.

Rambo, VW' Beatles are Porche's, just slimed down, A Porche is the "sister" to a VW bug. Same chassie, slimed down engine, just different body style. So if it's a Beatle you have, you still have a fancy sports car. Just get to enjoy the efficiency and affordability more. I have a bug, and I'll take on the muscle cars anytime. Mine is turbo, fuel injected and registered to do 130 with still room on the speedometer. I don't want to be in at 130 miles an hour. But my bug isn't bashful about pulling along side the big boys. hee hee

I try to hide the fact at first,but then,anyone can ntell something is wrong,because it's written on my face...so,I have a hard time dealing with jealousy..

Ask yourself if you would be willing to trade with that other person and have their entire life rather than yours. Wouldn't you rather be you?
Maybe you want the attention the other item would give you rather than the item itself. ???

I am never jealous of peoples things, could careless about material things. I do get jealous however, about how they look after their things! I wish my yard was as trimmed and weeded as theirs. Or that my vehicle could be kept as spotlessly clean. It doesn't bother me about the difference in the quality of the vehicle but in how well some people can take care of their stuff. I guess it doesn't matter that much to me or I would do it. It looks great when people keep things meticulously.
