Horrible Day....

I went shopping today with my dad and his girlfriend. I was excited because we went to a very large mall that had a lot of stores that I like. But, all we did was go to stores him or his girlfriend wanted to. I would point out stores I like but they would just bypass them. All my dad wants is to change my interests to what he likes. I tried on a hat I really liked and he told me it was awful. At one point my dad even said "That outfit is so ugly, I beat you like it Nicki." I just feel like it was all about him and his girlfriend. I do not get to see him very often and everytime she comes with. I just want so time for just us. He moved 2 hours away when I was 15 and I'm almost 21 now. I told him after that I felt like we didn't go to any places I liked and he just said "Well, we all can go again." I ended up asking my mom if we could go together because she doesn't try to change me.

I know it feels like dad is neglecting you and neglecting how you feel but he may not even realize it. It's always nice to feel wanted and appreciated by our parents but I found the best thing I could do was to forgive my dad for neglecting me and forgive myself for the resentment I was feeling toward my dad. I found peace by doing so.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
