I don't think God had anything to do with any of it. In fact, you probably need Him more now than ever.

Beyond that, .. I doubt you and your step Mom can have a positive relationship. Maybe, but I doubt it.

Seems to me the best thing is GF's 'boyfriend' faces a paternity suit for child support and she takes on the single parent role, .. or PERHAPS adopt out. Dunno what her qualifications are for being a parent. Perhaps you and she could 'marry up', and raise the child good and proper ... I would not know. She needs to take a class in birth control.

You need to place blame where blame belongs .. as if blame does much good. Living with step Mom wasn't a very good idea in the first place it seems. You need to secure a decent income and provide for yourself ... and MAYBE a significant other and a newborn.

Convert this train wreck into something wholesome ... at least for yourself. Just my opinions.

you don't have to not belive in God because what people tell you ..how or who God is .....they don't know God ..........................they only know what the church preachers .......................God is pure unconditional love .....and you are loved by God .....there is nothing negitive in God ........God is always beside you ...with his hand ready to take yours ...if you so chouse .........and even if you chouse not to you are still loved ...............how you love your life ....is your free will ....given to you by God ......you can chouise to live it in a loving way .....in a good way ...no mater who you are with..... God will never abandond you ......you have to be true to your self ......and who you realy are ..................I am very sorry that your family's are not supporting eather of you ..........but you have each other and a baby on the way .......to look forward to .......some of the others might come around once they see ....the happy stable relationship you have ..together ................you don't need to go to church to be cloce to God ..just talk to him .....he will here you ......take very good care of the three of you ...God bless ......and don't worry about the rest ....

Let me begin by saying how much admiration I have for you for getting out of the situation with your stepmom. I am a gay man and I also had to take a stand with my family and love myself enough to walk away. Let me tell you God loves you as a lesbian and never stopped loving you. He created you the way you are. Please never stop loving yourself and always know you can just send up an "Oh God" and you will be comforted. Sending you love and lots of light my sister!

As a gay Christian, I have struggled a great deal to make peace with the fact that God created me as I am. Your situation sounds like a total bummer. I'll pray that you find some way to sort it all out.

I'm sorry your Mom isn't accepting. It's not about you and not your fault. I was never able to make it work with the hyper-religious Christians. They seem to have a one track mind!

Well at least you have your partner. that's more than alot of people have, but I understand your feelings of loss with your step mom and the whole loss of support from her family too. I just don't think the majority of men are really mature enough or just emotionally smart enough to have anything real, but I probably have a warped view.
