Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

There is also a group attached where you can chitchat with other people who understand what it is like to live with illness. We have *distraction posts* to get your mind occupied on something besides pain, stress, flashbacks, etc
For depression, It just really sucks I know too well. Sometimes a little extra sunlight during the day will help lift the spirits, look at bright colors in nature such as flowers in bloom. Look at children and how they play and laugh. If you can't do that dig up an old video of sesame street, and watch it you are never too old!
Try and spice up your resume a little and make a new cover letter and spice that up as well. While waiting for your therapist to come back make notes about how you felt while they were gone and make sure to bring them in to your next session. Waiting can be the hardest thing and financial burden as well. Look for all the help you can find in your community for supplemental food sources and help with utilities. Be your own advocate because you always can count on yourself!
