Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

The mostly cloudy and rainy days don't help. I was supposed to have a break and relax yesterday. It didn't work out. And I found out husband has to take three day class. Afraid he will leave car lights on and call me to come get him, or give him jump. He doesn't like to bother other people or wait for tow truck to come. I won't drive on beltway. Have to drive unfamiliar roads to get there. If I can get ther without beltway. Taking care of mom's estate stuff is getting to me also. I have complications cause brother gets house and car and gets SSI. Can't just sell stuff. Commercial building sold on installment payments. May have to foreclose. Definitely have to do something. They stoped paying. And we're frequently late with payments. Nervice about colonoscopy coming up next month. Dread the prep. Then nervice about having to drive husband home from his colonoscopy. Get car out if parking space with out hitting cars next to me or in the next row is biggest fear. Probably will be ok. But I have anxiety disorder.
I'm not grieving. I sort of did that for three weeks after mom died. I was happy she died for both our sakes. Never was close to her.

Anxiety disorder indeed. Sounds like everything you are worried about has not happened. I understand "disorder" and sympathize. Perhaps a medication adjustment is in order. I hope you feel better soon. I think there is an anxiety support group on DS that may offer more help.

So I have been having a lot of health issues and my cardiologist felt that he didn't get clear enough images of my heart in the office, so he wanted to do a Trans-esophegeal heart Echocardiocgram in the hospital. I was pretty nervous about it, because I've never had any procedures related to my heart or any other major organs. I've had knee surgery and thyroid surgery, but to me anything to do...
