I have thought on this lately what with Thanksgiving coming and going as it did for me. I will not bore you with a belated list of things I am thankful for. It is a wonderfully long list. But one of the most precious things I have is the love and support from some really special people in my life. So I am most grateful to be blessed with the friendship of truly kind and compassionate people. Among them there are people here I count as especially precious. And quite frankly if you live and breath air then you are precious too. As I think on these blessed folks in my life I can feel their love for me and my love for them. When I feel this my depression lifts sometimes just a little and lately a whole lot. So for me personally friendship helps my depression. Thank you , thank you , thank you !!!!! To all that would call me their friend. Your love and support never goes unnoticed or unappreciated. I truly love each and every one of you.

Everyday I feel more and more sick. Being in pain every day, I've learned to disguise it. So well that others don't believe my pain when I speak of it. Needing help but only receiving negative responses, I find my way but pay for it later. I absolutely need the rest but there's pressing things to be done.

Ugh my depression is really being triggered by the grief of losing my mom. Ugh it sucks. I wish this pain would leave me already.

for me , if i do something kind or helpful for someone else, even if its just little acts of kindness, thats what makes me smile and feel a little better
Even in an unhealthy friendship, if we spend more time laughing than crying and irritating each other, yeah it's the best. I take great satisfaction making my buddy laugh when he's feeling glum, down in the dumps. Plays on words, talk of bodily functions, nothing is off-limits. He appreciates it too.
