Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Again, I'm not sure if things are going to work out with this therapist that I really like, for the longer term. After I went back to work, she has very few late appointments, like 4 or 5 pm. She had one 3 PM this week, and I rearranged my work schedule around her and scheduled my day off on Wednesday so that I could see her. I scheduled one this week with her because I haven't seen her in a month. I saw her six times over the summer, it was working out well and we were just into the groove of it. She just called to cancel the Wednesday this afternoon for an eye doctor appointment. I am so frustrated and irritated. A routine eye appointment and mammogram? Really? I worked my schedule around her. I turned down a Mon thru Wed job because of this Wednesday appointment. This may not be worth it. I'm glad my mental health isn' worse...otherwise this would not be good. The 2-3 therapists before that just simply forgot they had an appointment and never came. I think it's such garbage.
Every time you meet a new therapist you have to explain the situation...again...it takes them a few meetings to get the gist of you and your situation, which is why I think its total BS when they don't stick with it or flake off. It creates problems.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
