Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I think that most of us know the pain and debilitation of depression. For me it makes me feel very vulnerable. I wish we could just openly talk about it but there is still a lot of misinformation and stigma about depression.
I am open to chatting (pm). I am struggling too but carry on--sometimes to my
amazement. I think that my husband gets overwhelmed as well, but I can understand. He has his own life to live and is kind and helpful.
He listens and cuddles with me which is helpful but I am sure to let him know that I don't want to be a burden and encourage him to take care of himself. It would be nice is their was a DS group for family members of those who suffer from depression. As they say "It's like any other illness", only realistically it isn't.
So my thoughts are with you and feel free to pm you (I will send you a message). Remember that this is not your fault and we'll all get through this together.
