Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

This is the most alone in my life I can ever remember feeling. Between every bit of stress and being depressed at home and work I tried to force myself outside to go play a card game at a local card shop. A place where similar people to me exist that share interests. Even there in a room of 30 people, I felt so insignificant. I had nobody to talk to at all. In an hour of being there I started to get a wave of depression that made me wish I never left the house. Ever going somewhere to participate in a activity I have waited months to do, I got no enjoyment from, and also had a breakdown trying to do. I tried to talk to some friends online about everything, but it felt like I was just ignored. Everybody I want to tell things to just feels like they are annoyed at me. I really don't know what else to try. Nothing helps me feel better.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I know that feeling of putting yourself out there only to feel like
you wish you hadn't tried.
But it's amazing that you did try! There are so many lonely
people out there. You matter. Things will get better
