I feel like I will never be able to overcome depression because there's always going to be soemthing crappy about my life, not enough friends, not pretty enough, not smart enough and more, it all just seems to hard to overcome or like it will take decades

There is always going to be ups and downs in life. Life is messy and unfair in all areas no matter how young or old you are. You have to learn how to navigate it and not let the hardships get you down too much. I know its easier said than done. But I see a lot of strength in you. :)

your posting on here and getting things out in a safe place, that"s a good start to overcoming depressiion, in my opinion. your admitting you have an issue. just having an awareness of something is a good thing. things will get better, because your the type of person who is working on issues. my prayer is for you to see light at the end of the tunnel and have a bettter day

None of us are perfect, we all have flaws. Worrying about what you don’t have is pointless, but accepting yourself for who and what you are is priceless. I too worried about those superficial attributes, but have learned they aren’t what I truly need. I need peace of mind and the ability to function in life at a better place. I need to be able to think without anxiety calling the shots, without it controlling me. I’ll trade that for smart and pretty any time.

I was SO depressed when I was your age too, about the same things, and how my life sucked. As you get older, it will pass. None of us are perfect. You have to be strong and accept yourself for who you are. It gets easier when you do that.

As soon as I notified my maintenance man, he was quick to reply with the work order. RAPID response... he's getting my services around my apartment done. I appreciate my landlord and...

Hello,so I'm currently in a weird relationship with my long distance ex who I've never met in person and it's taking a toll on me. I've lost 15 pounds and lost my appetite, but I'm really attached to him. We've had a lot of problems and I think that has caused me to gain severe anxiety. I don't know if I should wait until it gets better or what. Everytime I've blocked him, it has tend to make me...
