Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I would rather throw up than endure hours and hours of nausea.
My only phobia is claustrophobia...but it's pretty much only really small places.
Interestingly enough...the large places (like wal-mart) that have echos and a lot of noise bother me too.
My anxiety used to make me feel queasy and nauseous too. I used to have to make sure I was near the door of a restaurant in case I had to run out. Eventually I stopped going to restaurants at all, the smell of food would make me feel sick.
I don't do that anymore thanks to therapy and meds but I did suffer for about 5 years with it...too ashamed to get help...but then I was so tired of having panic attacks and being afraid of having them!
I hope you feel better soon honey.
there was some type of creature in my apartment at school and my roommate and i just worked up the courage to kill it and i got scared and it ran away. it was in the kitchen so we went out for dinner and i didn't go back in the apartment till her boyfriend came and went through the kitchen and found the bug and killed it.
my dad makes fun of me.
i pass out about medical things. specially needles and child birth. saw a thing about a guy who had his toe nail come off, i had to set down. so avoid anythign that deals with stuff like that. im a little scared to walk into hospitals, cause if i see someone hurt... i might pass out.
im normally good with other people bleeding though. i just need to set down. but things that happen to me are unavoidable.

PHOBIA:
black water. cause its either because its very deep and something really big could be hidden there, or you could get lost and unable to reach the surface. or because something has moved below and mud has risen to the surface blocking you from seeing whats down there. i wont even walk near it, cause there might be an alligator right at the ledge.

Daisylou, I know what you mean, it does feel better after puking, but I just hate the gut-wrenching feeling while puking SO MUCH that I will do almost anything to prevent it. Even if it means suffering for hours. Crazy, huh?
& tocophobia.
kinda OCD about germs and srtaightening things up aroung the house
very afraid of spiders and sharks..its hard for me to even see pictures of them without shivering!
The way to challenge if the reality is an actuality try your hardest to be sick through up see if you can do it.
No purging or fingers down the throat. When you feel that fear try your hardest to be sick. You will be surprised that no matter how much you try it is impossible, test the reality of the feeling it is usually distorted thoughts we get that will trigger the panic attacks
