A week ago I posted about my mom being in the hospital. She is now in a rehab for physical therapy. This last week has been a living hell for me. I am not even sure where to start.
I am just so tired, stressed out, and depressed. I feel like I'm in a no-win situation here and I fear my mom is going to be sent home and I will be left with a situation I can't handle. I'd love for my mom to come, but I don't want to deal with a nightmarish situation. I can't do this on my own.

Do you think anxiety is genetic or comes from your environment? What are your thoughts?

Many of you know Mr K told me to "shut your mouth" in March 2025 when we took a road trip to Alpena Michigan. Since that time, we have had lots of ups and downs but I have never intentionally hurt Mr K in anyway. And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

Either you must 'handle it' or she has to go somewhere else. Seriously. If you can't, and she comes home, it will be a catastrophe.
I don't know any details ... but all things given, a third option has to be found.

First, please do join the group that PepperMan suggested. I think it will be very beneficial for you. I'm so sorry you are feeling so overwhelmed with all of this. I'm not sure why you feel like you won't be able to handle the situation ( unless it's because of her falling, which I'm guessing it is? ). I'm hoping that they are working on her stability in the rehab to get her stronger. Is there a possibility that home health care can be used for her atleast a few days a week? I'm sure you're checking into the options you have. Is there a social worker at the rehab she's at that you're talking to about what to do when she comes home? I know this is hard for you. I'm really sorry. I'm keeping your mom and you in my thoughts and prayers. I love you.
