Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
one thing ive noticed tho... faking happy might not be as good as happy, but its a lot better than showing the depression, specially to friends
I've heard "suck it up" more times than I care to count
I said to him "if I tell you I am good you say great keep it up"
if I said "I feel bad you would say well just hang in there"
He just looked at me like the asshole he is.
I gave up trying to put on a happy face. This is the real me, you don't like it then go to hell
Sometimes I just smile and say, taking life one day at a time.
Oh and men are human beings too. :)
Feeling for you and sending big hugs my friend.
We all seem to be in the club for those that have pissed the big man off somehow I recon.
Earlier rants are what we all experience so no problems. Just glad you are in a better space right now.
Keep fighting my friend it is always worth it.
I fake my happy and okay moods to those around me. I dont want them feeling bad. I dont want to hear more of the same doesnt work advise and suggestions. But also because I dont want to loose people over me not being happy / okay. Yes, I feel I have to fake it or it ( relationships ) wont work or last. Sad, but life.
