Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
On Friday I left with my church for a competition type thing and I came back yesterday on Sunday, when I got home, I felt the most painful boredom and loneliness I've ever felt, this was very different from other times I was depressed, i couldn't even function, I was on the verge of crying for like the whole time yesterday and when my cousin came over I could not even talk to her I just had a blank face and was trying not to cry in front of everyone, I barely spoke, I couldn't speak, and it wasn't even because of my social anxiety, it was because of my depression, i felt like I had the most boring and lonely and horrible life in the world. I felt very inferior and like A loser while I was on the trip, I couldn't really even talk to anyone because I was too anxious or ashamed, so seeing everyone socialize and be friends and me being lonely made me extremely sad. And when I got home it was worse, I felt like everyone had the best time ever and that I was just a loser, and that my life sucked, I still have no interest in things anymore, but it was worse yesterday, I can't even describe what I was feeling, I just know it was boredom/loneliness, but more exetreme than usual. I also was thinking about how boring my siblings lives were too(minus my brother), I was wondering if anyone felt this way, because I'm not thinking the same way I was on Friday anymore.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I hope you feel better soon. Praying for you.
