Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
My New Year's Resolution was, for one, to get healthy. For two, to clean my messy house. So I cut down on my portions and lost at least 25 pounds. I have 50 more to go. I'm into it. Yesterday, I joined Planet Fitness through a program that I get for free through my Medicare Advantage plan. The program is called Silver Sneakers. So I had a choice of a free membership or the black card membership which is only going to cost me a one-time a year payment of $41 and $13 monthly. I used their massage chair! Ah! I didn't workout because something wasn't going through with my account. Later, I got a text from a classmate that I tracked down for our reunion and not only is she coming to the reunion but she wants to make a donation. I wrote to the committee and they were coming up with different ideas. Then I told them about joining the gym. One girl got excited and said that she needs a gym buddy and is looking into it today. Cool!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon
