Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
That is the name of the little 4 year old boy that they buried today in Virginia. He was beaten to death here in Utah by his Step Father while his mother stood by and watched. He did not only beat him one day and went *a little to far*, he beat him multiple days and burned him in the tub.
The mother still did not grab him and love him and take him away and get him some help... She stayed by the monsters side and even left him with Nathan Sloop, her newly married husband, when she knew he was hurting him, until the little beautiful frail boy could no longer take his abuse and he passed away.

And then to top it all off Nathan and Stephanie Sloop beat the little angels body and face to a pulp with a hammer so that he would not be recognizable and buried him. I AM SO SICKENED and had to bring this to the boards... sorry if it is offense to anyone..
If you know or even think that someone is being abused act quickly and get this person some help.. If we all would just remember that if our gut instinct says something wrong, it is probably wrong.. Dont wait until another human being is injured or dead... Dont wait until its to late.

Way back in the 70s there was a 12 y/o boy who's mother let the leader of the religious cult she belonged to beat him everyday for most of his life. At age 12 he finally found freedom from the beatings through death. That was right here im Mi and the story stil haunts me today. I think of that little boy everytime I hear of another child succumbing to abuse.
My heart breaks over and over for these poor kids.
Sadly it goes to prove that there is true evil in this world, and that monsters do live under beds of some children. :(

It's horrible and I don't think I could ever wrap my head around it no matter how hard I tried.... I don't know if I'd want to understand it... I don't know if it's even possible for a seminally decent human being to understand.........

And the very fact that we actually feel FORTUNATE to have never been abused as children speaks volumes.
We should not feel fortunate about this. Growing up in a loving home shouldn't ever be something people feel fortunate for - it should be something that is normal for every child growing up!
poor little angel boy..... may he rest in peace forever in a place where he will never suffer again, and he will..... and he is.............
I just can't imagine how much that poor boy's father must be suffering right now...... He BEGGED not to have to send the boy with them... and it turned out he was right... so sad.
