Easter was good but then I had to come home back to reality, back to the very messy house and my mother telling me how she feels like she can’t even live in her own house and sits there crying. Back to the reality of my roommate screaming at me for not asking for help but when I do ask I get screamed at she throws things and slams doors. I don’t know how much more I can take it. I’m a religious person but I’m starting to wonder if God’s real and if he is real then why has he let me suffer in the ways I have, why does he just sit back and watch me cry.... thinking of all the ways I could end it.

If your living situation is as bad as you say, if your roommate is as bad as you say....change it. Find a new living situation. Find a new roommate. Those conditions have nothing to do with God letting you suffer.....
Sometimes you have to step up and make the choices that better your life. They may not be easy, they may take time, planning, saving, contacting social agencies that can help you, but rarely are they impossible.
God doesn't give up on you, but he also doesn't snap his fingers and make life perfect while people stay in bad situations and do nothing to better them.....
We get busy focusing on the storm, that we forget to focus on Him. This causes us to sink. That sinking is made worse by Depression. Times that we don't know how to carry on is made available to carry on by The Lord carrying us. He doesn't promise to take away the bad. He is there with us in the bad. That is how you can tell if someone loves you. They will be with you, when all others have fled. He loves you more than is humanly possible. I know this, because it is how I am still able to type this Reply to you. Life is hard, but we have One with us to carry us on. I hope this made sense. Thank you and God Bless.
