I've been watching this man since he started out being on Oprah. I almost always agree with his advice. Yesterday, I watched an episode about a separated couple. The husband lied about his jobs for years. He even made her quit her job of 18 years because he said he had a job in Germany. He had no jobs. So here's my point, Dr. Phil tells this devastated wife that she has a choice in how she handles this situation. She could fall into depression or she can see it as a learning experience. How would you handle it?

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I think once you'd had some time you could be capable of seeing it as a learning experience, but there's nothing wrong with feeling the whole spectrum of emotions after a pretty traumatic experience
