None of you knew her, but for several months my youngest daughter who lives 200 miles away complained to me about indigestion or constipation or I think I have a ulcer.
I would tell her she better see a doctor and she would say I dont have time to go to a doctor. I am too busy.
Too busy with her home based business. Too busy with her 4 grandchildren under 3 years old. Too busy with her special needs 11 year old son.
Finally on February 26 she did go see a doctor complaining of painful swelling in her leg. She was rushed to an emergency room then placed in ICU until March 9th and on March 11th diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer.
On March 21 she fell into a coma and passed away the following day without regaining conscientiousness. She was 48.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Watching my brother die has had a profound impact on my life. I appreciate just how fragile life is, and how we need to give these bodies proper sleep, proper exercise and proper diet, as well as minimizing stress and aggravation in our lives as much as possible. I promptly got myself a colonoscopy and was pronounced, thank God, all clear, squeaky clean. It's been almost 10 years since then, and generally I feel fine, but it's probably time for another one.
Thankfully, my sisters have both given birth to SONS since our dearly departed brother's passing, so maybe this is God's way of filling the void...!
Wishing you peace in knowing the pain has ended and she is well within the middle of Gods love....hugs
