She's upset because I close off from everyone when I feel my depression kick in. I spoke to a friend about what happened. One I haven't known all that long. One who didn't really know me when I was so strong and unbroken. She's quite upset that I didn't come to her first. I want to talk to her. I really do. But how? How do I go up to someone who has seen me at my strongest moments and completely break? How do I tell her that all the issues I though I had dealt with, all the demons I had buried, have come back, full force? I'm afraid of leaving. I'm afraid of things changing. How can I go to her feeling like I don't deserve her in my life? God, I love her. I love her so damn much. But there's so much going on in my life, so many thoughts holding me back. What if my mentality drives her away? I'm such a fool...

And when we first started dating in 2024 he let me know, although he is an engineer by degree, he has an extremely low EQ. Overall, he is ok (not off the charts nice like other guys in...

Tell her that opening up about things forces you to show your weak and scared side; ask her if she is up to that. If she is then go forward. If she is not then she is not the friend that she thinks she is.

You might just print out your post and give it to her as a note, if it's too hard to say it out loud. Then the two of you can talk. Your post really says it all.
You sound like a really loving person. I seriously, seriously doubt you would lose her if you open up. Just take a deep breath and try it! :)
