Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
me, giving out eggnog and gingerbread to all my residents as they awakened christmas morning....what a joy to see the look on their faces like someone was really handing them this at this time of the morning! haha made my day!
Made muzz a turkey dinner, that was great, and he loves it so much...
Would have loved to do more, but money is just so incredibly tight, my plans for doing things stalled. But I had fun putting my inexpensive kitty-proof ornies on my tree! Neighbours claim to love it, it's in the front window, and has the m/c twinkler lights on it. Looks festive, makes people smile.
I couldn't really find the energy or money to do a whole lot more.
I loved hearing the stories.. I know a lot of us here cant afford our own familiys far less giving to others.. My son gave me a nice bonus so I wanted to pass it around.. Both of my boys will a little pissed about it as they dont understand.. Like I said, I could have used the money else where but it gave me lots of smiles.. People thought we were bonkers... It was quite interesting...
