Hi, well...
Although I was never "oficially" diagnosed with this condition I'm aware that at least since 2011 I'm not able to feel in control for my mood. I have a very negative vision of life and the world, I'm constantly sad, tired, my motivation for the things I once enjoyed are almost completely gone, I've lost my appetite and I just want to be alone, etc etc. I have constant thoughts of suicide, I overthink alot, I started Self-Harming the next year and it's gotten worse.
However, I've never experienced any major trauma I'm aware of, I do not suffer from any physical illness or condition, neither does any of my friends or family members. I do have a few close friends and a boyfriend which are the only ones that can make me content for a short time. Family life is... ok I guess, even if I chose to isolate myself as much as I can in my room. We do deal with economic difficulties but we have all our needs covered. I did relatively well at school. I can act normal, just some of my friends know something about how I really feel and about my SI.
I don't know what could have caused me to feel this way... I just hate myself and stop caring about life. But I'm now stuck in a vicious cycle where I feel guilty about feeling bad when everything else is just fine.
Does someone else feels this way too? Can someone get depressed and even suicidal without having experienced a major stressor orl ife-changing event?
P.s: Yeah, I am going to a psychologist because of anxiety and stuff although I'm not really sure she takes me seriously, but that's another story...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Please open up and get help so you can be properly diagnosed and maybe medicine would help. But first you have to tell someone. Please do so. I grew up depressed with suicidal thoughts and a lot of tears and no one in my family knew and I could've gotten help. I did have several very tramatic events that finally made me see someone and get on the right medication but it doesn't always go that way. I wish I got help when I was young....got a lot of very depressing poetry from it but I never let anyone read it, it was like a journal for me.
Tell someone, please and get help, now. Best wishes.
