cute story about circumcision

So I work with families.  I had this one family where there was a 4 year old little boy who was living with his grandmother.  He had to have a circumcision, and when I came over to meet with them, he kept asking me if I wanted to see it.  I did not answer, so his grandma tells him no, that  I didn't want to see it.  He started asking why, and continued asking his grandma if he could show it to me.

Well, I think he kept asking you to see it for a reason. This little kid has something in his mind

Are you sure that he was safe and there were no markers for abuse? Its not really normal for a 4 year old to want to show you his private parts.

Are you sure there wasn't something else going on that he thought it was okay to show a stranger his private parts?

no, i had been working with them for a year, and the nurses at the hospital made such a big deal with him, he was excited that he had it. so no I wasn't a stranger
