Im pleased to announce Alphonsus as a Community Leader for the Depression support group. Alphonsus has continually offered exemplary advice and support to other members on the site, and were certain that hell make a wonderful Community Leader.
Alphonsus will be helping members obtain and receive positive support, greeting new members, finding emerging trends, offering advice to members who post discussion topics, and also helping us locate clear cases of abuse and spam. Along with being able to recognize him by his very cool, dancing Yoda avatar; starting immediately hell also have the CL badge on his avatar.
So lets give Alphonsus a big high-five and congratulate him for taking on this new role.

I'm ok with the men you have chosen so far. I don't see this as a man vs women thing. So far these people chosen, have just been the right people for the job.
I will ask Alphonsus if he needs a secretary, although I don't make coffee, I will NOT be picking up his shirts from the dry cleaners, I do not take dictation nor shorthand *Alph thinking then what the Hell Do you Do Jazzie?*
But what I WILL do is give good............oh never mind........he will have to conduct "interviews" to find out....................rofl

And I think you would make a great sexatary....I mean secretary....see jazzer? I did the same thing..... those words are practically spelled the same.....geesh..
and agree Bella, this is not a man vs women thing. First of all there are far more women on DS then men in the depression community; no different than in real life. Many men are in denial about their depression (I think STBEX is depressed in full blown denial)
I admire each and every man that comes to DS to seek help with their depression. You are all STRONG men in my book. It takes a lot of courage to admit to a mental illness.
