Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

so I’m sat in a coffee shop unable to go home this morning after my 4tg nightshift in a row with very little sleep during the days in between. On my way home I was talking on the phone to my BF and we had a huge argument.he has people round but all I want to do is have a bath and go to sleep. I said he was selfish (I won’t be able to sleep with them all playing games and making noise. Plus o would feel uncomfortable trying to get to sleep when there’s a house full of his friends). He said I was unreasonable for expecting him to sit around by himself all day. Now I’m in costa desperately trying to say awake and not to cry. All I want to do is go back to the house and go to bed but I feel like I can’t and he doesn’t even care. This is the closest to suicidal I’ve been in a very long time.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

Never ever underestimate yourself to feel you're stuck in an unhealthy relationship. Yes fear of the unknown is scary as hell but sometimes you have to come out of your comfort zone for the greater good of moving on to have a healthy/prosperous life! You only get one life with no do overs and yes as the saying goes, "life is too short and tomorrow isn't promised to us!"
Lemme guess, that was early in the relationship, right? When "everything" was new and bright and beautiful. When overlooking those "red flags" is so easy and oh, so frequent.
Does your bf have a job? Because I can't figure out why he would otherwise "sit around by himself all day" unless he was unemployed.
BF is a child.
You're contributing to this house by working demanding hours and its more than reasonable to want to go HOME (the place where you live, not his friends) and relax.
I agree with the other posts, what else is he doing? Why does everybody have to come bum around at your place? If he doesn't want to hang around the house all day why can't he leave? I don't want to disparage your BF, but his argument and actions are wholly inappropriate and more than rude. It is unfair to expect you to live that way.
