Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I think that I've had it. I want new friends. I'll keep these as acquaintances, but I can't stand it anymore-the relentless negativity, the extreme drama, I am so exhausted and sick every time I hang out with them. I actually noticed that when I took a break from them for a while, I felt so light and relaxed and much better about everything...wow. I felt actually slightly guilty for not missing them.
We had a zoom meeting this month for someone's birthday. It sucked beyond all sucking. Can't even believe that you could call this a party. I made the mistake of asking how my friend's new house that she purchased is. It led into this endless tirade of everything that was wrong...it just went on and on and on. There were these long, uncomfortable silences and no one seemed to know what to say. All I could feel was resentment and anger when I got off the call, I think I picked up on the vibes.
I don't like a lot of the people in my life. I'm not really sure they are good for me.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
